Silvana Lauricella

Silvana is the founder of the Sapphire Retreat and has been practicing natural healing therapies since 1995. She is trained in and practices, Reiki, the Journey Method (with Brandon Bays, since 2001), Quantum Touch and Energy Alignment.
She is also trained as a facilitator to run women’s circles. She has attended women’s circle retreats on a horse ranch in Assisi, Italy, which was run using horses as our teachers. She has also attended women’s circles in Australia and is looking to hosting these, as well as the retreats, in 2022.
Her inspiration is working with people who are willing to meet “whatever happened to them”, heal from it and move on. She says that when people come to her for a therapy and they are able to open fully to the pain of their past, she is able to objectively feel it with them and “go into it with them”. When they come out of it she feels that she comes out of it with them and the elation is so uplifting. “It feels like the world turns better when we are able to let go of and transmute what is holding us down.”
In 2006 she published a photographic book of sunrises and inspirational verse “New Beginnings – The Zen of Australian Sunrises”.
She holds degrees and diplomas in Education, Languages and Computer Science.
